Working on remodeling the houses in Starlight Shores. They remind me so much of the kinds of homes you would find all over the area of CA that I grew up in.
The exterior is very much a work in progress, but it’s got a nice beach vibe (I must be really into beach houses right now, I don’t even know), and the location is pretty sweet being right next to the ocean and close to downtown.

Trying to finish all of the beach properties in Sunset Valley before Island Paradise comes out, but I don’t think it’s gonna happen. Besides, with all the new build stuff, I probably would have went back and redone a bunch of stuff anyways.

The more I work on this, the more that I fall in love with it. The only thing that kind of has me at a loss is the front of the house, where the driveway makes things kind of awkward.
My sims outgrew their smaller home, so I decided to build them a bigger one. This was a royal pain in my ass, but I am proud of how it turned out.
I went back into my Sunset Valley save that I was working on before I hurt my back. Most of the buildings are just empty shells, with a little bit of furnishings inside and bare walls. Mostly all of the rabbit hole lots are completed, and after coming back to it after a month of not touching it I could look at it with fresh eyes, decided to keep it rather than trash it like I usually do >_>
I have too many uncompleted/half completed projects, I need to finish one damn it!
I have sort of been in a building mood lately. This was a bit of a challenge, not like half landing stairs or anything, just in maximizing what little space that I had.
Granted, I lost a bit of footage when I decided to leave part of the upstairs open to below. Looking forward to landscaping!
