Redoing Brightpoint slightly, I just wasn’t happy with how it was turning out, so I started making buildings again from scratch, and added a few lots with the In-Game World Editor rather than take the time to go into CAW.
so much better than aurora skies. i think i’m gonna import the aurora skies weather files into this world tomorrow.
AGREED. i loaded Aurora Skies into my game, played for five minutes, and promptly took it out of my game. really not their best world, i thought immediately “Looks like a crappy Saaqartoq rip off” >_>
It’s time for an X-amount of followers gift! (# of followers doesn’t really matter, blah blah blah…)
I asked for suggestions for hairs that people wanted ‘fixed,’ and this one especially caught my eye. However, what started out as a super-quick, ‘just fix the bone-assignments’ project mutated into this giant ‘must fix everything wrong with this hair ever’ project.
This hair has TWO new textures (including everything from the multiplier to the specular and normalmaps and anything in between), a complete overhaul on the bone assignments for lovely animations, the headband and little nubbins are now CAStable, the alpha issues are fixed (SO MANY THANKS TO ANUBIS FOR THAT!), etc. etc. etc. It’s available for T, YA, and A females. All LODs and Morphstates. One teeny tiny thing that I COULD NOT FIX: at the absolute largest sized sim, the little nubbins get somewhat distorted. When I tried to fix that, the mesh would explode. I’m so, so sorry I couldn’t get that to work right. Also, there is SOME clipping on SOME poses/anims; I honestly don’t think it’s too big of a deal, but be forewarned.
Mesh originally by Rose. Textures on the basic mesh are by Anto. Textures on the alternate texture are by Peggy. (Shocking, I know! I just really loved those textures on another hair I have and had to use them.) Extra uber gobs of credit to Anubis for sending me the fixed alpha layers!
Do whatever you want, but don’t be a dumbass and try to say you made this or upload any variations on any paysites. FEEL FREE to do any sort of retexturing and realpha-ing and recontrol-ing!

i have been thinking about maybe extracting Shang Simla into a livable world, like they did for Champs, but i dunno it sounds like a lot of work, and i have SO MANY other projects on my plate *cough*Brightpoint*cough*
but it would be cool, right? the way the houses are all laid out with the cobbled streets, and the private backyards. i know there is Pagoda Islands, and similar worlds, but i just love Shang Simla.

i have never done one of these before, so i thought, why the hell not? this is a Craftsman home that there have been pictures of floating around here somewhere, but i never decorated it all the way, and… it’s still not. this house is nearly empty, save for bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry. everything else is up to you.
CC is included (i hope lol), and it is in sims3pack format only, because i am lazy. use CC Cleaner to get rid of what you don’t want. it is mostly windows/doors/walls and some kitchen overhead cabinets.
the house is 3 bed, 2 1/2 baths, has a breakfast nook and formal dining. there is an office, and a little loft space upstairs that would make a nice kid’s play area, or maybe a separate media room. do what you want, it’s all up to you how you furnish this bad boy.
EDIT: you need all EP’s up to Seasons, you might get away with not having one or two, but that’s on you, pal. use at your own risk!
EDIT (Again): Even though it isn’t furnished, it’s still gonna cost your sims §59,095 simoleons. so, bear that in mind when you go to move your simmies into their new home.
